Anthony Drapos is a current undergraduate at Worcester State University, studying English and Communication. He is anticipated to graduate in the spring of 2023.

Throughout college, Anthony has dedicated his time towards gaining experience in Writing and Marketing. His scholarly interests include Mass Communication, Graphic Design and Digital Imaging, LGBTQ+ Narratives, and Creative Writing Poetry. In the spring of 2022, Anthony was appointed by his university to do a Social Media Marketing Internship for the university’s English Department, in order to increase and retain department enrollment numbers. Through thorough examination of social media analytics, he found that his marketing rollout for the university’s English Department, had engagement from states outside of Massachusetts as well. Anthony has also acted as a major support system for his peers at University, by tutoring them in Writing and being a leading figure in Worcester State's Writing Center. Anthony has written several published and/or award-winning pieces during his time at University, including his Barbara Pilon award recognized piece, If Not Now, When?: My Words of Honor to LGBTQ Youth. He writes a broad spectrum of genres, but enjoys focusing on the Narrative, Poetry, and Music Review genres most. His own poems and essays have appeared in The New Worcester Spy, and The Stone Quarterly Literary Arts Journal.

When Anthony isn’t dedicating himself to his work and readying for his future, he enjoys traveling, music, graphic designing, going to concerts, being a full time Miley Cyrus fan, and teaching those around him his very simple belief system; that we should always treat one another with kindness.

With an immense amount of undergraduate-level credits in English and Communication completed, Anthony is ready and eager to engage in future opportunities!
